The United League of Arakan (ULA) says that people who want to submit complaints to the Justice for Arakan Telegram Channel can write their complaints by hand on paper and send a photograph of the document if they have difficulty typing on a phone because of limited access to technology.
The information was explained by Ma Mya Zan Wai, Deputy Director of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the United League of Arakan (ULA).
She said arrangements have been made for people who have problems with internet access or do not know how to use digital technology. They can clearly write down their complaints or grievances on paper, take a photograph of the document, and send it to the Justice for Arakan Telegram Channel.
When a complaint is received, responsible officials register and record it carefully. They then forward the case to the relevant central offices, depending on the type of complaint, such as land disputes, legal cases, or other issues.
The ULA also said that when the relevant departments respond about the action they have taken on a complaint, the organization provides further assistance to the complainants. This includes legal assistance and guidance on what steps they should take next.
For cases that require special assistance, the ULA said that investigation teams may also be formed based on recommendations from the central committee. These teams can conduct investigations directly on the ground.
However, many people in Arakan reportedly still face difficulties in submitting complaints. Many do not yet know about the Justice for Arakan Telegram Channel, while others cannot use Telegram or face problems accessing the internet.
