It is said that part of the proceeds from the sale of “Thupone Phyu” (“The White Rebel”), a poetry book written by Dr. Nyo Twan Awng, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Arakan Army (AA), will be used to support the revolution.
It is said that 35 percent of the proceeds from the sale of “Thupone Phyu” (“The White Rebel”), a poetry book by Dr. Nyo Twan Aung, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Arakan Army (AA), will be distributed as support to all revolutionary fighters who have lost their limbs during the revolution.
The support is intended for those who joined the revolutionary struggle after the military coup and have sacrificed parts of their bodies in the fight.
It is said that between 1,500 and 2,000 revolutionary fighters across the country have lost their limbs during the resistance struggle following the military coup.
Each of these brave individuals who made such sacrifices will receive a copy of the poetry book “Thupone Phyu” along with some financial support, which will be delivered through the relevant revolutionary organizations after the fundraising event concludes.
It is also said that the remaining funds will be used, depending on the situation, for areas related to the revolution.
Dr. Nyo Twan Awng, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Arakan Army (AA), is a prominent revolutionary writer and soldier who has written various forms of literature, including poetry, under different pen names.
