The United League of Arakan (ULA) has warned people not to file complaints with the Justice for Arakan Telegram Channel through another person or by using someone else’s name.
The warning was given by Ma Mya Zan Wai, Deputy Director of the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the ULA.
She said that complaints submitted by someone other than the actual complainant can create difficulties and confusion. They can also lead to incorrect or misleading information. For this reason, people are advised not to submit complaints through other people.
The ULA said that people should submit complaints about their own grievances directly, using their real names and providing accurate information about their cases.
When complaints are received, the responsible officials register them and coordinate with the relevant central offices. They then carry out necessary investigations and provide assistance, according to the ULA.
The ULA also said that people who face difficulties with the internet or digital technology can write their complaints clearly on paper, take a photograph of the written complaint, and send it.
