The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Arakha Public Health Department has been conducting regular field inspections of pharmacies selling and distributing medicines across the Arakha region.

During the inspections, officials check for expired medicines and other pharmaceutical products that are unsafe for use, as well as conducting other necessary regulatory checks.

In addition, cosmetic shops in towns and villages across the region are also being regularly inspected to ensure that their products do not contain chemicals that could pose risks to public health, according to the department.

The Arakha Public Health Department’s FDA said it would continue to strengthen inspections of food and pharmaceutical products to ensure the safety and well-being of consumers.
