The Paletwa District Party Committee met with Christian churches in Paletwa District, which is under the control of the Arakan Army (AA), on September 24.
District Party Committee members, government department officials, and 18 pastors and church leaders from 16 Christian churches in Paletwa attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants discussed ways to ensure that religious activities and traditional ceremonies in Paletwa District can be held safely and successfully.
After the meeting, the Paletwa District Party Committee provided financial support to the Christian churches, donating 500,000 Myanmar kyats to each church.
