The Arakha People’s Revolutionary Government provided one month’s supply of food to displaced people from five villages in Kyauktaw Township—Chin Ma Won Htawng, Panya Wa, Kharu Maw Pat, Day Wun, and Pi Kaung Wa—on September 16.

The assistance was carried out under the leadership of the Arakha People’s Revolutionary Government’s Displacement Committee, in cooperation with HDCO, the township party office, and the township administration office.

The aid was provided to 24 displaced households, comprising 87 people. Each person received rice for one month at a rate of two cans per day, while each household received one liter of cooking oil and one viss of salt.

The displaced people expressed their gratitude for the assistance. The Arakha People’s Revolutionary Government said it would continue providing support to other displacement camps as well.

A large number of people remain displaced due to the conflict in the Arakha region. They are in urgent need of food, medicine, and other forms of assistance to meet their daily survival needs.
