Mrauk-U, September 15.

The Displacement Committee of the Arakha People’s Revolutionary Government provided one month’s supply of basic food to 95 displaced households, comprising 310 people from five townships in Mrauk-U District, on September 15.

The assistance was delivered through a joint effort involving the DLEPS Department, the party, the administration, HDCO, and a women’s group.

Each household received a one-month supply of rice, one liter of cooking oil, and one viss of salt.

A large number of people remain displaced due to the conflict in the Arakha region, and they are in urgent need of food, medicine, and other assistance to meet their daily survival needs.

The Displacement Committee said it is also continuing to provide food assistance to displaced people in other townships across Arakha State.
