At least 65 people were killed and 78 others injured in airstrikes carried out by the Myanmar military in areas controlled by the Arakan Army (AA) between September 28 and October 4.
On October 4, a military airstrike on the Yo Ngu (Bya La) displacement camp in Ponnagyun Township killed 11 people.
On September 30, a military airstrike on a displacement site near Kyauk Seik Village in Ponnagyun Township injured three people, including a child, and damaged several houses.
On the same day, airstrikes on We Ra Thani and Rathedaung Township killed one person and injured four others.
On October 1, two people were injured when the military carried out an airstrike near Bodhi Kone Market in Ward No. 6, Thandwe.
On October 2, a military airstrike on a car repair workshop in Aung Phyu Pyin Village, Ponnagyun Township, injured two people and damaged vehicles at the workshop and two houses.
On October 3, military airstrikes on wards in Rathedaung town, as well as Pya Chaung Gyi and Pyin Khaung villages, killed two people and injured 13 others.
On September 28, a military airstrike near Indian Market and the Kassapanadi Bridge in Kyauktaw killed 51 people and injured 57 others.
Those killed and injured in the military airstrikes included men, women, children, elderly people, and pregnant women.
The Myanmar military has been carrying out airstrikes on schools, hospitals, markets, residential wards, villages, and other civilian-populated areas, according to the report.
