In the territories controlled by the Arakan Army (AA), the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government is carrying out road safety measures.

From the moment civilians began entering the towns seized and controlled by the Arakan Army (AA), the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government has been regularly implementing road safety measures for the Arakanese people.

In those seized and controlled towns, Arakanese soldiers and DLEPS members are reportedly working to prevent road accidents for the Arakanese civilians on busy roads.

These measures include reminding motorcyclists to wear helmets, fasten chin straps, and not carry more than two people on a motorcycle. Pedestrians and travelers are being urged to follow these rules, and it is stated that penalties will be imposed for further violations.

Warning signboards displaying these regulations have been placed at intersections and along highways to remind and alert the public.

These inspections and warnings aim to protect the Arakanese people from road accidents and injuries while also ensuring compliance with traffic safety regulations to prevent life-threatening incidents.

In the final battle for Arakan, the Arakan Army (AA) has completely seized and taken control of Paletwa region, along with Maungdaw, Buthidaung, Rathedaung, Ponnakyun, Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Minbrar, Myaybon, Pauktaw, Rambre, Thandwe, Taunggoke, Ann, and Gwa townships.

The Arakan Army (AA) has only Sittwe, Kyaukphru, and Manaung townships left to capture, and Arakanese civilians report that military tensions are escalating in these areas.

Arakanese civilians report that the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government has already begun establishing administrative mechanisms in territories controlled by the Arakan Army (AA).
