That location was also targeted in an airstrike on May 13, just yesterday, and today two more bombs were dropped there again.

On May 14, yesterday, the junta conducted an airstrike on the road behind Shwe Kyaung Monastery in Ywar Ma ward, Kyauktaw town, resulting in the deaths of three civilians and injuries to three others, according to local residents.
Among the deceased were Daw Win Yi, aged 64, from Ywar Ma ward, and Daw Yin Sein, aged 60, from Pike Thay ward.
In addition, Ma San San Win, an 18-year-old displaced person from Byain Phyu village in Sittwe Township, who had taken shelter in Ywar Ma ward, also lost her life.
In addition, Ma Than Su Hlaing, aged 18, who came to work in Ywar Ma ward from Pike Thay ward, as well as U Kyar Sein, aged over 70, and his 72-year-old wife Daw Mae Ma, were injured in the attack.
U Kyar Sein sustained injuries to his head and right arm, while Ma Than Su Hlaing suffered wounds to her head and various parts of her body. Daw Mae Ma was injured under her right armpit.
According to residents of Kyauktaw, the airstrike by the junta forces directly hit a house in Ywar Ma ward where a family was running a cheroot-making business, leading to the deaths and injuries.
They also reported that more than 20 houses were damaged after being hit by bomb fragments.
The victims who lost their lives in the airstrike were buried last night, while some of the injured are still receiving medical treatment, residents said.
Although the military junta announced a temporary ceasefire until the end of May, airstrikes on the Arakan region continue unabated.
